Please sign-up to become a volunteer to help direct students and traffic during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal. 

Brain Pop

A fun and educational website that
helps kids learn information in all
subject areas. Kids raise money to help the PTA pay for the school’s Brain Pop annual subscription. Each class tries to raise $100. Please donate to the cause or help us count the coins.

Culture Night

Do you want to learn about and enjoy
seeing the many cultures represented
in our school? Please sign up to display your culture by hosting a table, bring food from your culture to share or
serve as a general volunteer.

Field Day

Our kids LOVE field day!! Volunteer to
assist with field day for 3rd – 5th graders.

PTA Membership Team

Works together to create a
membership campaign for the coming
year. They continue their work by
enrolling members during school
events throughout the year. The bulk
of the work is in August and
September.

If you are a people person,
this is a perfect fit!

Teacher Appreciation Events

The PTA hosts a monthly teacher
appreciation event and could use 1

hour of your time to set-up or clean-
up. Schedules TBD

Destination Imagination

DI is a fun program that teaches
children STEM and encourages them
to think outside the box and work
together as a team. We need
volunteers to lead small teams of 4 – 5
kids.

Classroom Parent Team

This group or individual will make sure
the room parents are in the know and
that they have the most up to date
information to communicate to their
parents. The majority of work will be in
the form of email and can be done
while home in your slippers!

Back to School Picnic

To welcome families back to school,
volunteer to staff the PTA membership

table, organize a game, set-up or clean-up.

Trunk or Treat

The annual Trunk-or-Treat is scheduled
for October 30 and the PTA needs
parents to decorate their vehicles,
distribute goodies, organize a game or

donate candy/snacks/prizes. To sign-

March Madness Fam Jam

Each year, BES partners with our cluster
schools to host a family friendly game
of basketball. Sign-up to coach a team
or play for our team. Date to be
determined.

Book Fair

Volunteers are always needed to help
run the book fair. Volunteer 30 mins
or 1 hour...any amount of time is
much appreciated!
